About the role

Mercurius OS is developing an AI Operating System that connects enterprise systems, data, AI models and workflows through one intelligence layer.

As our Senior AI Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of the AI capabilities at the core of the platform.

You will work on AI model integration, contextual intelligence, agent orchestration and the connection between AI reasoning and enterprise workflows.

Working closely with our software and infrastructure engineers, you will help translate emerging AI technologies into reliable, scalable capabilities for enterprise organizations.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop AI capabilities for the Mercurius OS platform.
  • Integrate and orchestrate multiple AI models, including large language models (LLMs).
  • Develop AI agents that can interact with enterprise systems and workflows.
  • Build mechanisms for contextual intelligence, knowledge retrieval and reasoning.
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
  • Develop evaluation and monitoring processes for AI model performance, reliability and output quality.
  • Work with software and infrastructure engineers to integrate AI capabilities into the platform.
  • Contribute to AI architecture, security and continuous platform improvement.

What you bring

  • Extensive professional experience in AI engineering, machine learning or applied AI development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models, model APIs and AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience developing AI agents, RAG systems or enterprise knowledge applications.
  • Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings and information retrieval.
  • Experience designing scalable AI services and integrating them with software platforms.
  • A solid understanding of AI evaluation, reliability and security.
  • The ability to translate complex technical challenges into practical engineering solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Experience with enterprise AI architectures, multi-model environments or production-scale AI applications is an advantage.
